Having taught Design for over 30 years, returning to a Bespoke Design and Make service has been a natural step for me.
As a Designer Craftsman, my style has developed through experience in the fine furniture and steel industries.
My work ranges from specialist commissions to property renovations. In recent years I have enjoyed undertaking listed building work.
Whether complementing or contrasting, my work always aims to be sympathetic to the location and context of each project.

Bespoke Carpentry Specialist is based in Somerset.
We are always happy to work on small or large projects and enjoy using the full range of materials from wood to metal, iron to lime mortar and stone. Fine furniture projects run alongside other work.
Recent commissions have been completed in Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and South Wales. It is a delight working with our customers to help them realise their ideas.
Drawing on experience in education, we also offer basic training in craft based skills for young people of any age.

My students have pursued careers in architecture, design and fashion. This has encouraged me make the decision to reestablish myself as a practitioner. Thoughtful Design, using traditional manufacturing methods and materials, prevails throughout my work. I am happy to fit 'off the shelf' or to bespoke specifications.
